LWV Central Kane County is working with the Aurora and Elgin LWV to plan our first ever Election Expo this fall. All LWV members are welcome to join this meeting to learn more.
This meeting is open to LWVCKC members in good standing who would like to assist with fundraising strategy and planning.
(VIRTUAL EVENT) LWVIL‘s Communications Committee invites local League Communications committee members and any other interested local League leadership to learn and collaborate with quarterly gatherings on Zoom. We‘re inviting all local League communications chairs and volunteers to gather for another Communications Roundtable!
This meeting is open to LWVCKC members in good standing. We invite active members to attend when you are able. If you are not voting members of the Board of Directors and you wish to attend in person, we ask that you please register in advance due to capacity limitations.
The Central Kane County League of Women Voters will have a table at the Batavia Aprtments Health & Fun Fair to recruit new members and register voters.

The LWVCKC has had a position on affordable Housing since 2004. Given the lack of affordable housing within Central Kane County, we feel now is the time to work with towns on their Affordable Housing Plans.
LWV Aurora Area is marching in Aurora‘s PRIDE Parade, and we want to be there too!

This session will go into the WHY we observe our local legislative bodies as much as the best practices to do so.

Bring your local League to the Minor League, and represent LWV Central Kane County at Northwestern Medicine Field! Reserve your tickets today! Indoor/Outdoor Party Suite (sweet!) seat, great food, soft drinks, raffles, and awesome visibility for the League. Ballpark Classics (hot dogs, burgers, & brats) will be served with chips, cookies, bottled water and soda. Join us for a night of baseball and fireworks on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
